A story in photos:
And now, with words:
Yesterday was Hannah's four month doctor's visit (14 lbs., 6 oz. 24.5 in.). The nurse practitioner suggested that we start feeding her a tablespoon or two of rice cereal each day in an attempt to slow her reflux. I wasn't planning on anything other than breastmilk until six months, but if it'll help with the spitting up, I'll try anything.
Hannah does not appreciate the spoon.
It was fun to try, though.
Instead, we're going to try adding some to a bottle in the late afternoon/early evening. It won't make for such good photo ops, but it should be more effective.
I have some more questions for you that resulted from her appointment, but for now, we're off to dine out for my birthday. Not that the spoon feeding wasn't gift enough...
