TypeScrewed

TypePad recently released some new program that coordinates their old commenting service, TypeKey, with TypePad.  I never had the commenting service, but this is a TypePad blog, so they automatically sign me in to this new service, called TypePad Connect.  It seems lovely, and I'm sure offers all sorts of undreamed of new capabilities.

But here's the rub: this new program automatically signs me in to any blog I might want to comment on.  And when it does, it uses a link to my profile, which it populated from my blog and gave a url based ON MY LOGIN NAME.  Which, in my case, happens to give away all pretense of annonymity.  AND I cannot logout of this program without also logging out of my blog.

GRRRRR.

So, if you don't see comments from me in the near future, it's because of this glitch.  Not because I'm lazy.  Yeah.  Yeah, that's it.

If you have an in with TypePad, can you help a sista out?!
