[C'mon! Click through if you're viewing on a reader. I've done some redecorating and I need your compliments undying devotion unbiased opinion. Too much? Too simple? Too "mommy"? Too non-specific?]
Okay, on to the real topic:
Let's talk about Caroline's hair, shall we? What, you didn't think I meant something else entirely did you? Shame on you!
We're at a crossroads. As I see it, we have to options with Caroline's hair: Some bangs to give her a clear view of the world at large, or an ever-increasing supply of hair bows to keep her locks in check.
I've been proceeding with no-bangs, probably more out of a lack of motivation and energy than anything else. Though I do like the bang-less approach and suspect that she may have inherited a rogue cowlick or two that could become unfortunately obvious after a haircut. I think uber-toddler, Suri Cruise, looks great with bangs, but I'm not sure how I'd get my hands on the paralytic agents that must be necessary for such a precise cut on a toddler.
I like the look of the hair bows, and as toddlers go, she not that horrible about pulling them out. Every now and then one falls victim to a slathering of tomato sauce, meatloaf gravy, ranch dressing, or strawberry popsicle goo, but hey, who doesn't.
And that's how we've found ourselves caught in the hinterlands of indecision. We can easily be swayed, so, cough it up: if Caroline were yours, what would you do? And while you're at it, please share any harrowing hair stories for my general entertainment. Oh, and the edification of others. Yeah. That, that's what I meant.
