The washer got stuck in "fill" mode this morning and flooded nearly the whole downstairs. The repair company is here tearing out the manufactured wood floors now. There are plastic sheeting portals, 33 fans, and dehumidifyers involved. I have to pack my china and have my furniture moved around. I have to find a way to work in an environment that doesn't sound like it includes jack-hammers and buzz saws.
I'll certainly have to live with the inconvenience, but at least I don't have to live with the cost.
Every cloud, right?
